Salon use of nail files
It is advisable to only use a file for a single client between two disinfection sessions, in order to avoid the transmission of germs or viruses between clients. Some salons even have personal files for their clients.
When using your folders in the living room, it is good to have several sets of folders. This way you can use a clean and sanitized record for each client and establish a routine to clean them. Even though salons use personal files for each client, they still need to be maintained by cleaning them up to prevent them from fading too quickly.
Home use of nail files
All folders must be cleaned and disinfected. Most of the time the reason the file looks “worn out” is due to dust accumulating between the grits. If you take care of your files, they will last much longer and be more efficient, allowing you to work faster at your home.
