We present below a typical application protocol for the application and installation of our UV gels for the application of capsules and French. Before starting your manicure, disinfect your hands and then disinfect your client’s hands.
1. Preparation of the nail
- Remove any traces or residue of varnish on the nail with acetone-free nail polish remover.
- Push back cuticles.
- Shorten and gently file the natural nail with an nail drill.
- Dust the nail with a brush or nail brush.
- Finally, apply a layer of “Primer” to the natural nail and let it dry.
2. Placement of capsules
- Take care to choose the size of the capsules carefully.
- Glue the capsules.
- Apply a capsule softener to the part stuck to the natural nail.
- Cut the capsules to the desired length using a capsule cutter then file to the desired shape.
- Then gently file the top of the capsule to perfect the connection between the part of the capsule stuck to the nail and the natural nail.
3. Application of the gel
- Start your application by applying a thin layer of base gel over the entire surface of the nail. Be careful not to touch the cuticles. Applying a base gel will provide maximum adhesion.
- Catalyze under UV lamp, 2 minutes.
- Apply a thin layer of Camouflage gel in the same way. Applying a Camouflage gel will allow you to hide the imperfections of the nail and the capsule.
- Catalyze for 2 minutes under UV lamp.
